DUST HUSTLE

Shooting at/for Dust Hustle is becoming a staple now. It's an event that I look forward to, and as any person working in the video production field, that can be pretty rare!

In previous years I have only done photography at the Dust Hustle events. This time around, I actually wanted to shoot motion. One of my earlier videos, where I shot with V8 supercars, didn't really hit it's mark with views or enagement. I got one bit of feedback that said my use of slow motion, although cinematic, could sometimes rob the video of a sense of speed. For this shoot, I shot a lot of it at 25fps and even some of it much lower. I think it really did help give the video some pace, and it also had the added benefit of highlighting the shots that I shot to shoot at 120fps.
