The Arc Film Productions

The Arc Film Productions are is more than just a collection of people. We're an ethos. We strive to create the best anything we can, regardless of the project or medium. We aren't content with mediocrity or blandness. We care deeply about what we make.

Who are we?

The Arc Film Productions are run by Patrick Gatling and Lauren Evans. Both are active in the film industry, working on large and small scale productions. We also have a network of film-makers and other screen professionals that we collaborate with.

What do we do?

The Arc Film Productions offer a range of services, from photography and video to editing and directing. We like to work with clients from initial consultation all the way to finished product.

What does the name mean?

The name refers to the old school Arc Light projectors. They used an arc of electricity to generate the light. During our careers so far, it has come to our attention that there is a divide between veterans and new comers to the industry. There is the old vs new mentality. The film vs digital debate. This shouldn't be the way! We should use the rich history of cinema to shape the future of the industry. We should adopt new tech and use it to full force. We liked the idea of being the 'arc' between the past and future. Plus, we liked the name.

What do we offer?

What is important to us?

The Arc Film Productions aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible. To do this we try and minimise the amount expendable materials, like paper, we use. If you have dealt with us in the past, you will notice that we strive to use digital files where possible. If a non electronic hard-copy isn't needed, we try and avoid it. We recycle 100% of appropriate waste, this includes E-Waste such as batteries and old electronics. This is the only world we have, so we're doing our part to protect it.
